Glasgow Science Festival – Soundwalks & Audio Installations

In June 2022, Sound Thought partnered with Glasgow Science Festival to lead a series of soundwalks around the West End. Sonia Killmann, Beth Horseman, and Kevin Leomo also created immersive soundscape installations which where installed in the Kibble Palace in the Botanic Gardens.

Glasgow Science Festival
Launched in 2007, Glasgow Science Festival (GSF) has grown to be one of the largest science festivals in the UK. GSF takes memorable events to non-traditional venues across the city where we engage with up to 60,000 people, from all ages and backgrounds, through the June festival and tens of thousands more through our community projects.

SOUNDWALKSBooking required

Sound Thought presents curated soundwalks of locations around the West End of Glasgow, exploring notions of acoustic ecology and the impact of humans and noise pollution on our local environments.

The tours last approximately two hours (headphones required).
